From the Nursery to the Pistachio Groves: An Authentic Family Experience
Immerse yourself in an authentic experience at our family-run farm and discover the world of Bronte Pistachios through a unique journey that takes you from the early stages of plant growth all the way to the tasting of our finished products.
The visit begins in our nursery, where we cultivate pistachio plants and where you can observe the different stages of their growth up close. We will show you how a plant is born, the grafting techniques used, and the care required to transform it over the years into a productive tree
We will then continue into our pistachio groves on the slopes of Mount Etna, surrounded by a unique landscape defined by volcanic soil and the agricultural traditions that have guided pistachio cultivation for generations. During the walk, you will discover the history of the Bronte Pistachio, the unique characteristics of this crop, and the harvesting techniques passed down through time.
Along the way, you’ll enjoy fascinating trivia, family stories, and the opportunity to snap a memorable souvenir photo next to our Giant Pistachio, the symbol of our company.
The experience concludes with a tasting of artisanal pistachio specialties, allowing you to savor the results of a process that starts with plant cultivation and leads all the way to the finished product.
Before you leave, you will have the opportunity to purchase our products and take home an authentic piece of Bronte and its tradition.
